Oldest known portrait of St. Paul discovered in catacombs

Vatican archeologists have discovered what they believe is the oldest portrait of St. Paul: a 4th-century fresco in the catacomb of St. Tecla. The discovery, made last week, was announced by L'Osservatore Romano as the Pauline Year came to a close.
