Argentine archbishop fears ideological indoctrination in schools

Archbishop Hector Aguer of La Plata, Argentina, has charged that new school policies are being designed not to educate students but to indoctrinate them in the "neo-Marxism of the Frankfurt School." The archbishop said that new curricular approaches are intended "to make the child or the student into a miniature critical theorist in order to change society," while traditional subjects are being neglected. "Do we want illiterate revolutionaries to come out of Argentinean schools?” he asked.
