Jerusalem Patriarch pledges support for peace process

Archbishop Fouad Twal, the Latin-rite Catholic Patriarch of Jerusalem, said that he hopes the Church and help in the search for a peaceful and lasting solution to Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He made his remarks in a Vatican Radio interview, noting that in the Holy Land the Catholic Church "has always been an element of peace, collaboration and pacification."
