District court ruling makes it easier for foreign-born priests to serve in US dioceses

A recent US district court decision has made it easier for foreign-born priests and religious to assist dioceses and religious communities. In Gabriel Ruiz-Diaz et al. vs United States of America, the US District Court in the Western District of Washington ruled that religious workers may simultaneously apply for permanent residency and a green card.
