    "The document 'must be read as a whole' to understand the 'limits and extent of the pastoral orientations.'" This is certainly true...as far as it goes. I and many tried to read the troublesome paragraphs in this spirit. But the door to continuity with the Apostolic Tradition was slammed shut by Francis himself. It was very, very far from satisfactory when Pope Francis told the Catholic world that the Argentines "get it" (my words), and if you don't yet "get it," then you had better get on board
