Notre Dame announces fundraising success

The University of Notre Dame has enjoyed a signal success in fundraising despite-- or possibly because of-- the fracas over the commencement appearance by President Obama. Notre Dame has announced that a major capital-fund campaign reached its $1.54 billion goal two years ahead of schedule.
