Polish bishops back ban on in vitro fertilization

The Polish bishops' conference has recommended a complete ban on in vitro fertilization procedures, throwing their support behind a controversial legislative proposal that would bring the nation's law into line with Church teaching on the immorality of separating the process of human reproduction from the marital act.
