UK bishops: Legislation could force removal of crucifixes from Catholic institutions

The bishops of England, Wales, and Scotland are warning that Equality Minister Harriet Harman's Equality Bill-- which bans the creation of an “intimidating, hostile, degrading or offensive environment”-- could lead to the removal of crucifixes from Catholic schools and other institutions if atheists find them offensive.
