L’Osservatore Romano has welcomed President Barack Obama’s June 4 address in Cairo, praising it for going beyond “political formulas” by “evoking concrete common interests in the name of a common humanity.” The news article-- most of which simply summarizes the speech-- takes note of the “clarity” of President Obama’s remarks on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
