Vatican confirms: Pope will visit Czech Republic in September

Pope Benedict XVI will travel to the Czech Republic at the end of September 2009, the Vatican has confirmed. The Vatican announcement-- made after the Pope met with Czech President Vaclav Klaus-- indicated that the Pontiff will stop in Prague, Brno, and Stara Boleslav. Exact dates for the trip were not included in the announcement, but mentioned that Klaus had said he was looking forward to the papal visit.
