Notre Dame VP named to Vatican bank board

The Cardinals’ Commission of Vigilance of the Institute for Works of Religion, informally known as the Vatican bank, has named the vice president and chief investment officer of the University of Notre Dame to the bank’s Board of Superintendence.

Scott Malpass joins Javier Marín Romano of Banco Santander (Spain) and Georg Freiherr von Boeselager of Merck Finck & Privatbankiers AG (Germany) as a new member of the seven-member board.
