Association approved for female Vatican employees

The Vatican has approved its first association for women employees.
Membership in Donne in Vaticano (Women in the Vatican) is open to the 750 female employees of the Holy See and Vatican City.
Since the first woman employee was hired in 1915, the percentage of women in the Holy See’s workforce has grown to 19% today.
