France, Holy See ratify agreement on French church in Rome

The Holy See and France have ratified an agreement, signed in July, entrusting the care of the French church in Rome to the priests of the Emmanuel Community, a French charismatic Catholic community.

The church of Santissima Trinità dei Monti had previously been entrusted to the Order of Minims (1494-1798), the Society of the Sacred Heart (1828-2006), and the Monastic Fraternities of Jerusalem (2006-16).
