Vatican launches web site for Peter’s Pence

The Vatican has unveiled a new web site for Peter’s Pence, the annual collection for the needs of the Roman Pontiff.
The new site provides thoughts from Pope Francis and links outlining of the Holy Father’s charitable efforts. The site also allows for direct online donations, to supplement the collection that it taken up in parishes all around the world.
The site was launched in English, Italian, and Spanish versions. Other languages will be available soon, Vatican officials said.
