Pope requests prayers on Lateran Basilica feast day

Recalling that the day is the feast of the dedication of Rome’s cathedral, the Lateran Basilica, Pope Francis requested prayers at the conclusion of his November 9 general audience.
“Pray for the Successor of Peter, dear young people, so that he may always confirm his brothers in faith,” Pope Francis told the crowds in St. Peter’s Square. “Sense the closeness of the Pope in prayer, dear sick people, as you face the trial of disease.”
