At Auschwitz, an interfaith appeal against anti-Semitism

Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem joined other Christian, Jewish, and Muslim leaders from Israel at the Auschwitz concentration camp, where they issued an interfaith appeal against anti-Semitism.

Representatives of the Polish episcopate and the Israeli government were also present at the event.
