Federal court upholds law compelling pregnancy centers to post abortion notice

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the “Reproductive FACT Act,” a California law that compels crisis pregnancy centers to post a notice informing women about abortions.
The law requires pregnancy centers to post or distribute the following notice:
California has public programs that provide immediate free or low-cost access to comprehensive family planning services (including all FDA-approved methods of contraception), prenatal care, and abortion for eligible women. To determine whether you qualify, contact the county social services office at [insert the telephone number].
“It’s bad enough if the government tells you what you can’t say, but a law that tells you what you must say—under threat of severe punishment—is even more unjust and dangerous,” Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Matt Bowman said to LifeNews.com.

I wonder if the Appeals Court would uphold a law that denies free speech? For example, what is to prevent the pregnancy centers from posting their own sign above or beneath the statist sign. The sign could say something like: "As a Catholic organization, we believe that abortion is a grave moral evil and will do all in our power to oppose it. We will resist all government efforts to close us down or minimize our mission to save lives, especially those of the most innocent among us--our children.

It is frightening to realize that the US Govt. and the consciences of millions of Christians, Orthodox Jews and others who adhere to traditional family values are now on a collision course with the Government. It is no longer impossible for me to imagine a time when I and others like me will be persecuted for our faith. I pray God will give us the grace to stand our ground and the courage to face whatever lies ahead.

The 9th Circuit court should be protecting the rights of the pregnancy centers and not siding with the State of California.

So will Planned Parenthood have to offer pamphlets on abstinence, classes on natural family planning, and post the addresses and phone numbers of local pro-life crisis pregnancy centers?
