Pope calls for policies in support of families, employment

October 17, 2016

At the conclusion of the canonization Mass on October 16, Pope Francis led pilgrims in the recitation of the Angelus and noted that the following day was the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.

“Let us join our moral and economic forces to fight together against poverty that degrades, offends and kills so many of our brothers and sisters, by giving life to serious policies in support of families and employment,” he said.
