New Archbishop of St. Louis speaks on withholding Communion
May 18, 2009
Archbishop-elect Robert Carlson, who will soon be installed as Archbishop of St. Louis, told an interviewer that his predecessor, Archbishop Raymond Burke, makes a powerful argument for the duty to withhold the Eucharist from politicians who support abortion, "and I think he does it correctly."
