Church doctrine helped fuel anti-Semitism, says Archbishop of Canterbury

The leader of the worldwide Anglican communion has said that Christian doctrine helped to spur the growth of anti-Semitism.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr. Justin Welby, said that "it is a shameful truth that, though its theological teachings, the Church, which should have offered an antidote, compounded the spread of this virus."
