Clinton, Trump invited to NY Catholic Charities fundraiser

Both leading American presidential candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, have been invited to speak at the annual fundraising dinner for Catholic Charities in New York, archdiocesan officials have disclosed.
Hillary Clinton has confirmed that she will attend the October event-- better known as the Al Smith dinner. Donald Trump's attendance in not yet confirmed.
The Al Smith dinner is traditionally a light-hearted event, in which prominent public figures poke fun at each other and at themselves. It is also traditional for the New York archdiocese to invite both major presidential candidates to speak at the dinner. Thus in 2012, both President Obama and his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, participated.
The appearances of political leaders who support legal abortion, at a high-profile event sponsored by the Catholic archdiocese, have generated protests in recent election years.

So, Hillary is the new Obama and Trump is the new Romney. Cardinal Dolan does not control the agenda, but he influences it--thus will be spread further confusion among the faithful.

When this terrible "tradition" will finally STOP? This is the most disgusting show of cardinal Dolan - laughing and joking with pro-abortion, pro-homesexual individuals ... obviously with whom he feels most comfortable. SHAME ON HIM!
