Czech bishops oppose adoption by homosexual couples

The Czech bishops have announced their opposition to a proposal to permit homosexual couples to adopt children.
The proposal “is a further attempt to downplay the importance of biological parenthood as a unique and irreplaceable potential in human life,” said Auxiliary Bishop Václav Maly of Prague, who warned against treating children as a commodity.
