Pope to preside at memorial Mass for Father Hamel

Pope Francis will preside at a Mass on Wednesday, September 14, for the repose of the soul of Father Jacques Hamel, the French priest who was murdered in July as he was celebrating Mass.
Archbishop Dominique Lebrun of Rouen, the archdiocese where Father Hamel had served, will join in celebrating the Mass in the Domus Sanctae Marthae at the Vatican. About 80 other pilgrims from Rouen will be in the congregation.
