Tanzania’s religious leaders urge opposition not to protest

Tanzania’s bishops have joined with Muslim and Protestant leaders in calling upon opposition forces to engage in dialogue with the government rather than engaging in protests.
“The selfishness of political parties has brought the country into danger and the risk of shedding blood,” said Archbishop Damian Denis Dallu of Songea.
