Vatican releases Pope's schedule for trip to Sweden to commemorate Reformation

The Vatican has released the full schedule for a visit to Sweden by Pope Francis to join in commemorations of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation.

The Pope will leave from on Monday morning, October 31, flying to Malmo, Sweden. Arriving there before noon, he will travel to Lund, where he will visit the Swedish royal family, then join in an ecumenical prayer service with Lutheran clerics at the city's cathedral. In the afternoon he will return to Malmo for another ecumenical event, with other Christian communities.
On Tuesday, November 1, the Pope will celebrate Mass in Malmo for the feast of All Saints. Then he will return to the airport for his flight to Rome, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
