USCCB president: pray a Rosary for victims of natural disasters

August 26, 2016

The president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has invited Catholics in the US to pray a Rosary for victims of recent natural disasters.

“Let us join with the Holy Father in prayer for everyone suffering from Louisiana to central Italy,” said Archbishop Joseph Kurtz of Louisville. “We entrust the lives lost to our loving Mary, Mother of God, praying for the comfort of those mourning and the strength for those rebuilding.”
