US bishops hire new spokeswoman

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced the appointment of Judy Keane as its director of public affairs.
Keane, whose writings have been published by Catholic Exchange and Sophia Institute Press, has worked as director of media relations and strategic communications for Arizona State University. She previously worked as senior manager of public affairs and communications for Arizona’s public health care system.
