Argentine cardinal raps corruption of former president's administration

Cardinal Mario Polli of Buenos Aires has taken a public slap at the administration of Argentina's former President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, calling attention to charges of corruption.
Cardinal Polli-- who was appointed by Pope Francis to succeed him in the Buenos Aires archdiocese-- told local reporters that the Kirchner administration had lost public support. "I think of the bags," he said-- referring to the fact that a member of Kirchner's administrative team had been arrested carrying bags with about $9 million in cash. An investigation into the incident has heightened suspicions about corruption during the Kirchner regime.
