Vatican newspaper op-ed: address climate change now before it is too late

August 08, 2016

In a front-page column in the August 7 edition of the Vatican newspaper, Italian philosopher Luca Possati said that climate change must be addressed now before it is too late.

Citing a report released on August 2 by the National Centers for Environmental Information, Possati noted that the year 2015 was the warmest since climate recordkeeping began in the nineteenth century.

Recalling that the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change contains no sanctions, Possati called for a “new globalized approach to development” in which climate change, poverty, and inequality are addressed holistically.

Even the pope has fallen for the climate change hoax making it more important than abortion and contraception and same-sex "marriage." Climate change along with jobs and loneliness in old age. I believe those were the three most important subjects in the pope's view. Check the evidence! Check real science! God wants as many as possible to people Heaven. Do you not think that God knows what He is about?

Breaking news: the politicians and big government guys will deny this, but there is growing evidence that even the climate alarmists cannot deny--anthropogenic climate change is, in fact, not a significant cause of the climate variations currently observed, Those in the Vatican who are feeding this myth need to stop drinking the kool-aid and start looking at the science. People will do anything to save the world, except take a course in science. Can Mr. Possati cite the published evidence that human activity, in particular CO2 generation, is causing dangerous climate change? No, he cannot, because there is no such evidence. If you think there is, please give us the citation. Science works on evidence, not what suits politicians.
