Missouri church vandalized

July 26, 2016

A parish in Bowling Green, Missouri, was vandalized with human feces on the night of July 23.

The suspect in the case, a 54-year-old woman, told sheriff’s deputies that she was angry at God for how her life turned out.

“The St. Clement parish community and the Catholic Diocese of Jefferson City are healing after the events of this weekend,” the diocese said in a statement. “It is the diocese’s hope that the person responsible receives the appropriate help and treatment that is necessary.”

It's unfortunate that this woman chose to take her anger out on the church but God did not cause her problem, only that her fellow humans let her down during her life. May she find true help.
