40,000 Americans to take part in World Youth Day in Poland

July 20, 2016

More than 40,000 Americans, including 85 bishops, have registered to take part in World Youth Day, which will begin on July 26 in Krakow, Poland.

“The 40,000 Americans registered represent the largest delegation of US pilgrims participating in a WYD outside of North America, just behind WYD 1993 in Denver and WYD 2002 in Toronto,” according to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.
