Brooklyn diocesan spokesman delivers invocation at GOP convention

The Diocese of Brooklyn’s vicar of communications delivered the invocation before the evening session of the Republican National Convention in Cleveland on July 18.

Msgr. Kieran Harrington prayed, “May we defend life when most vulnerable in the womb or in old age, and let us not forget our obligations to the poor and the sick, the prisoner and the alien in our midst,” according to an Associated Press report.
