Courthouse News Service identified the nonprofit as St. Francis of Assisi in Alameda.
“ISIS relies upon an open, notorious, well known, and formalized system of terrorist financing which incentivizes and incites the killings and displacement of the Assyrian Christians,” the nonprofit stated in its lawsuit, which was filed in federal court under the Patriot Act of 2001.
