Muslim leaders in Bangladesh join in condemnation of Islamic State

More than 100,000 Muslim clerics in Bangladesh have approved a fatwa that condemns Islamic State terrorists as "enemies of Muslims," the AsiaNews service reports.
The fatwa is an initiative taken by the Ulema, the Islamic leadership group, of Bangladesh. The Ulema has encouraged Muslim clerics to take an active stand in opposition to militant jihadism.
