As camp is cleared, bishop houses migrants at seminary

As officials in Ventimiglia, Italy-- citing security and hygiene-- cleared a refugee camp, Bishop Antonio Suetta established a tent city on the grounds of his seminary.

The prelate also praised a local priest who agreed to house 70 migrants at his parish and called upon diocesan priests “to follow Father Francesco’s example and open the doors of their parishes,” according to the ANSA news agency.
