Confessions 'dramatically' up during Jubilee Year, English cardinal reports

The number of sacramental confessions heard by Catholic priests in England and Wales has increased "dramatically" during the Jubilee Year, Cardinal Vincent Nichols reports.
Speaking at the conclusion of a meeting of the bishops' conference of England and Wales, Cardinal Nichols said that the jump in the rate of confessions was evident in different parishes and dioceses across Great Britain.
