Pope appears in video on monthly prayer intention

Pope Francis has appeared in a video designed to publicize his general prayer intention for March: “that families in need may receive the necessary support and that children may grow up in healthy and peaceful environments.”
“The family is one of the most precious assets of humanity,” Pope Francis said in the video. “But is it not perhaps the most vulnerable?”
"When a family is exposed to economic, health, or other difficulties, the children grow up in an environment of sadness," he added.
The 87-second video was produced by the Apostleship of Prayer.
