1,800 join Eucharistic procession outside Planned Parenthood in Colorado
March 10, 2016
About 1,800 people participated in a Eucharistic process, led by Archbishop Samuel Aquila, outside a Planned Parenthood facility in Stapleton, Colorado, on Saturday.
Organizers of the Eucharistic procession said that they had hoped to draw 500- 800 people; they reported that the unexpectedly large crowd "provided a bit of a challenge for us logicallys, as 1,800 people don't exactly fit on the sidewalk of a city block."
Archbishop Aquila remarked that the procession was "truly a moment of grace, a moment of blessing."
