Work for the dignity of Jesus, Pope tells Mexico’s Jesuits
February 22, 2016
In a brief video-message, Pope Francis called upon Mexico’s Jesuits to “keep working for the dignity of Jesus.”
Jesus “is working in every man and woman in Mexico,” the Pope said, as he noted Mexico’s youth and size.
Invoking the protection of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Pope sought the Jesuits’ prayers an asked them to “work for the cause of Father Pro”—a reference to the Jesuit martyr Blessed Miguel Agustin Pro (1891-1927).
