Christian refugees endangered by other migrants: German cardinal

Cardinal Rainer Woelki of Cologne, Germany, has said that Christian refugees face threats and intimidation by other migrants in transit camps.
"Concern is growing that politicians and the authorities might not be taking such threats seriously enough," the cardinal told an audience in Dusseldorf. Warning about the possibility that Christian refugees could be the targets of violence by their fellow migrants, he reminded listeners: "Christian persecution is not a topic of bygone eras."
