Vatican dismisses rumor that Pope will act in movie

The prefect of the Vatican’s new Secretariat for Communications has dismissed reports that Pope Francis will make his acting debut in a forthcoming movie.
The Pontiff will make an appearance in Beyond the Sun, conceded Msgr. Dario Edoardo Vigano. But the film will only use video taken of public appearances; nothing was recorded for the film itself.
”The Pope is not an actor,” Msgr. Vigano remarked.
