Vatican newspaper publishes British prime minister’s reflection on Shakespeare

L’Osservatore Romano has published a reflection by Prime Minister David Cameron on the enduring influence of William Shakespeare, who died in 1616.

“Shakespeare’s legacy is without parallel: his works translated into over 100 languages and studied by half the world’s schoolchildren,” wrote the prime minister, who has been in office since 2010.
