Israel allows some Gaza Christians to visit Jerusalem, Bethlehem for Christmas

The Israeli government has issued 600 "permits" to allow Christians living in the Gaza Strip to visit the shrines of Jerusalem and Bethlehem during the Christmas season, the Fides news service reports.
The permits are valid for a month, beginning on December 20. However, no permits were issued to peopel between the ages of 12 and 30. Young people who received permits will not be allowed to travel with their parents.
