Patriarch: pray for the liberation of Mosul

Patriarch Louis Raphael I Sako, the head of the Chaldean Catholic Church, has called upon members of his flock to pray during Advent for the liberation of Mosul and the Nineveh Plain.
The Islamic State conquered Mosul, Iraq’s third-largest city, in June 2014, and two months later swept through the Nineveh Plain.
