Cuba shuts down small Christian churches

The Cuban government has closed down, and will demolish, a number of Christian churches in Santiago de Cuba, the Breitbart news service reports. 

The crackdown on small churches appears to be a move by the government to eliminate potential sources of political dissent.

    Well, that certainly reflects well on the effectiveness of Pope Francis's visit to Cuba!
