Biden meets with Vatican 'foreign minister'

Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the Vatican's Secretary for Relations with States, met on November 28 with American Vice President Joseph Biden, who was in Rome for meetings with Italian officials.

A White House statement indicated that the conversation between Biden and Archbishop Gallagher had touched on climate change, migration, and the challenge posed by international terrorism. The Vatican did not issue a public statement on the meeting.
