Caribbean leader meets with Pope

November 23, 2015

Rodney Williams, the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda, met with Pope Francis at the Vatican on November 23.

The Caribbean nation of 91,000 is 81% Protestant and 10% Catholic.

Williams later met with Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, and Archbishop Paul Gallagher, the Secretary for Relations with States. The parties discussed migration and climate change as well as the Church’s promotion of the dignity of the human person and efforts in education and charitable assistance.

    "The parties discussed migration and climate change." It seems that "climate change" is a required subject for all discussions in polite society today.
