Schedule announced for papal journey to Prato, Florence

The Holy See Press Office has announced the schedule of Pope Francis’s upcoming apostolic journey to Prato and Florence, which will take place on November 10.

In Prato, a Tuscan city of nearly 200,000, the Pontiff will visit the cathedral and deliver an address to workers.

In Florence, Pope Francis will visit the historic Romanesque baptistery, address the National Ecclesial Congress of the Italian Episcopal Conference in the famed Florence Cathedral, pray and dine with the poor at the Basilica of the Most Holy Annunciation, and celebrate Mass in the Stadio Artemio Franchi, a soccer stadium.
