October 21, 2015

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced the agenda for its next meeting, which will take place from November 16 to 19 in Baltimore.

Among other items, the bishops will finalize a list of priorities from 2017 to 2020, discuss a “limited revision” to their quadrennial election statement “Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship,” and vote on a statement entitled “Create in Me a Clean Heart: a Pastoral Response to Pornography.”

With the most recent pronunciation by a few prelates (abp. Cupich being one of them) allowing "conscience application" in self evaluation of one's acts and presentation to receive the Holy Communion ... how about if USCCB focuses its entire effort on “Forming Consciences for Faithful CATHOLICS” - it seems like we have a serious problem with that issue!
