Bolivian cardinal's home bombed

April 16, 2009

No one was hurt in the explosion; the cardinal was not at home at the time. No motive for the bombing has been established. The cardinal and other Bolivian bishops have clashed frequently with leftist President Evo Morales, prompting some Morales supporters to threaten members of the hierarchy.
